BigBand Networks Appoints Regional Vice President of Cable Sales

BigBand Networks, a provider of video networking solution, has appointed Susan George as regional vice president of cable sales. Ms George will focus on Comcast, Cablevision, Cox and other cable accounts. She reports to David Heard, COO of the company.
Ms George brings extensive experience as a sales executive to BigBand. She spent more than 13 years working in management positions at companies such as Camiant, SeaChange International and Digital Media Studios.
Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in leading sales efforts through periods of rapid growth. Ms George holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Regis College.
Mr Heard said: "Susan is a seasoned sales executive with a proven track record of successful strategic sales management with multiple market-shaping companies in the high tech industry. Her sales experience will be instrumental in helping the company continue to rollout a wide range of compelling new BigBand solutions."
