Little Manhattan (2005)

Sky Movies Family, 6.15pm An 11-year-old New Yorker encounters a beautiful girl at his karate class, and soon falls head over heels in love. Over the summer the neurotic but determined youngster does all he can to grab her attention and win her heart, but he gradually realises romance isn’t always straightforward. Charming drama, starring Josh Hutcherson and Charlie Ray.

Hot Fuzz (2007)

Sky Movies Comedy, 8.00pm The team behind Shaun of the Dead return with this smart British action comedy. Top London policeman Simon Pegg is relocated to a tranquil village where crime is non- existent, and is teamed up with an overeager and witless new partner. As the officer struggles to adjust to his uneventful new environment, a series of grisly ‘accidents’ leads him to suspect that a sinister plot may be afoot.

The Grudge 2 (2006)

Sky Movies Sci-fi/Horror, 9.00pm After being trapped inside a cursed Tokyo home as it burned to the ground, Karen Davis (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is recovering in hospital. Karen’s sister Aubrey (Amber Tamblyn) travels to Japan to bring her home, but her probing into the suspicious events leading up to her sibling’s injury sets Aubrey on a frantic mission to prevent menacing supernatural beings from reaching the US.

Spider-Man 3 (2007) Sky Movies Premiere, 9.45pm The webslinging hero takes a turn to the dark side in his third big screen adventure, as he comes under the influence of a sinister alien parasite. When his uncle’s murderer is transformed into the shape- shifting Sandman, Spider- Man becomes consumed with a desire for revenge. But he also has to contend with best friend Harry following in his father’s villainous footsteps and a professional rival soon to develop terrifying superpowers of his own. Starring Tobey Maguire.

Castle Keep (1969)

Sky Movies Classics, 10.45pm Drama about an American platoon stationed in a 10th-century Belgian castle full of art treasures. They’re surprised enough when they get an extremely warm welcome- but things take a turn for the bizarre when their commanding officer is given the opportunity to impregnate their host’s comely wife. Starring Burt Lancaster.
