Tibetan Monks Share Skills

There is an amazing chance to experience the sacred world of Tibet with it's Buddhist chanting and mantras, ringing bells, clashing cymbals, booming long horns and beating drums.

Eight monks from the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, now re-established in Southern India, will present The Power of Compassion at the Flavel on Sunday, illustrating the diversity of their astonishing culture.

The performance brings to Dartmouth a dramatic, entertaining, informative 90 minutes of dances, music and chanting, in colourful costumes and ceremonial masks.

In addition to the performance, there will be a free pre performance hands-on workshop.
