Lifetime Original Movie 'Fab Five

NEW YORK, Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The Lifetime Original Movie "Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal" did cartwheels with younger viewers during its Saturday, August 2 premiere, at 9PM (ET/PT), becoming the network's #1 movie of the year among prime W18-34 and W12-17. The movie also averaged more than three million (3,041,547) total viewers along with a 2.63 HH rating.

Boosting Lifetime Original Movies' #1 position in original basic cable movies among W18+, "Fab Five" averaged 566,632 W18-34 viewers (2.04 rating) and 280,405 W12-17 (2.63).
The movie, which starred Tatum O'Neal, Jenna Dewan and Ashley Benson in the true-life tale of five "Mean Girls" cheerleaders, also grabbed 1,219,726 W18-49 (2.17) and 1,097,241 W25-54 (2.04), both second only to "The Memory Keeper's Daughter," Lifetime's most-watched original movie since 1995.
"Fab Five" kicks off "Movie Month" on Lifetime Networks. On Saturday, August 9, at 9PM (ET/PT), Valerie Bertinelli debuts in her first-ever original Lifetime Original Movie, "True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet," featuring platinum-selling recording artist Joanna "JoJo" Levesque. The following Saturday, August 16, at 9PM (ET/PT), Chelsea Hobbs and Rachel Hunter star in "Confessions of a Go-Go Girl."
On Sunday, August 17, at 8PM (ET)/9PM (PT), Lifetime Movie Network presents the powerful Original Movie "Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story," starring Judy Reyes, Ana Ortiz, A Martinez and Hector Luis Bustamante.
"Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal" was produced by Orly Adelson Productions in association with Fox Television Studios for Lifetime Television. Orly Adelson ("Odd Girl Out") served as executive producer, Jonathan Eskenas ("Ruffian") was co-executive producer and Bob Wilson was producer. Tom McLoughlin ("The Staircase Murders") directed from a script written by Teena Booth ("A Little Thing Called Murder").
