Eva Ads Scent Packing
HOLLYWOOD siren Eva Mendes has proved too hot for American telly.
A steamy commercial for Calvin Klein perfume featuring the 34- year-old actress has been banned by censors at most TV stations in the States.
It is believed the hint of nipple is what prompted the ban.
But the company behind the ads don't seem at all upset. Tom Murry, president of Calvin Klein, said: "It is not entirely a surprise for the US market.
"We believe the commercial is exceptional and hits the mark. We are anticipating a very successful global launch."
Calvin Klein have posted the ad on their website with the title "banned TV commercial".
The company have a history of controversial ads, including one in 1980 featuring the then teenage actress Brooke Shields telling the world: "You want to know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing."
Cuban-American Eva also appears in seductive ads for underwear.
