Glasto Kids Festival
Performance, participation and fun are to the fore at the 27th Glastonbury Children's Festival over the forthcoming weekend (August 8-11).
Plenty of wacky entertainers, including jugglers and circus performers, will be providing family entertainment from 11am to 5pm.There will also be games, a grand parade, circus and craft workshops, giant inflatables and a talent show.
A day's entry costs pounds8 for five to 12-year-olds, pounds6 for adults, teenagers and three to four-year-olds and pounds3 for toddlers; it includes all the entertainment. Head for Abbey Park playground, Fishers Hill.
If you miss Glastonbury, all the fun is happening again at Bristol's Durdham Downs on August 15-18.
Proceeds go to the Children's World charity.
