Creamfields on Record for Radio 1

BBC Radio 1will broadcast live from Creamfields for a record- breaking 10 hours.

The station will include a live special from the festival, at Daresbury, near Runcorn, on Monday, August 25, from 7pm, featuring tracks from Kasabian’s set.

Radio 1 has its own arena with sets from Underworld, Gorillaz Soundsystem, John Digweed, SanderKleinenberg,Deadmau5 and Nick Warren.

Listeners can tune in to Annie Mac between 1pm and 4pm on both days of the bank holiday weekend, with a Creamfields Special Essential Mix from midnight to 5am.

The all-night show will feature sets from Pete Tong, 2ManyDJs, Eric Prydz and Sasha.

A documentary has also been put together by BBC Radio 1, in which Judge Jules will relive the past 10 years at Creamfields using hypnotherapy.

Creamfields will be taking place on Saturday, August 23, and Sunday, August 24.
