Gypsy Culture Comes to City
A FESTIVAL celebrating the culture and heritage of gypsies is to be held in the Capital.
Held over three venues in the city, the history of gypsies will be told through music, art, film, theatre, dance and literature.
There will also be a programme of films and traditional storyteller events at the Scottish Storytelling Centre on the High Street.
Bands will play gypsy music at the Spiegeltent, George Square Gardens, while an antique painted wagon will be the focal point for demonstrations of traditional crafts. The festival runs from August 25-31.
