Radiohead: We Didn’t Compose ‘Choke’ Score

The British rock band Radiohead says that, contrary to reports stating otherwise, it did not compose the soundtrack for the new film "Choke."

Chuck Palahniuk, the author of the 2001 book upon which the movie is based, told BBC 6 Music the band wrote the score for the film, which stars Sam Rockwell and Anjelica Huston.

"(Director) Clark Gregg... knew that I'd written 'Choke' while listening to (Radiohead's) 'Pablo Honey,' with 'Creep' over and over and over,' " Palahniuk said in his interview with BBC 6. "So Clark got Radiohead to contribute a song; to write a song for the very end of the movie, the final credits. Apparently Radiohead liked the movie so much, they've written the score."

However, the band's publicist told BBC News that Radiohead contributed only one song, "Reckoner" from its album "In Rainbows," and the track was expected to play during the movie's final credits.
