Samira Saeed’s Hopeless Love

The latest video clip by the Moroccan artist Samira Saeed is being aired. The clip is for the song “Hob Mayoos Minoh” (Hopeless Love) from her new album.

The new clip is directed by Hadi Al Basjori and the story of the clip is about a girl in her car while it is drowning in the sea. As her soul rises up to the sky she accuses her lover of betraying her and tells the story of their failed relationship.

Filming lasted for three days in Cairo. The indoor scenes were filmed at Egypt Studios and the outdoor scenes were filmed at Alexandria Commercial Production Studios. There were even some scenes that were filmed in historical castles in Cairo.

According to the London daily Elaph, the new album is scheduled for release this week after it was postponed for the past few months.

The new album, called “Ayam Hayati” (The Days of My Life), features 14 songs.
