Two New Shows to Debut on DIY Network
The DIY Network has announced two new shows -- "Project Xtreme" and "Renovation Realities" -- are to debut on the U.S. channel this fall.
The popular series "Cool Tools" and "Man Caves" are also set to return for new seasons, along with all-new episodes of "Desperate Landscapes" and "Deconstruction," the network said.
"'Project Xtreme' takes common do-it-yourself activities to the next level -- from changing the light bulbs on New York City's iconic Empire State Building to installing a massive HD flat screen in Times Square," DIY said in a release. "Hosted by licensed contractor Jason Cameron, each installment of the five-episode series gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at some of New York City's most fascinating work sites and extreme jobs, including a look inside a Con Edison manhole for the first time in history."
The show is to premiere Thursday, Sept. 25 and will air Wednesdays, beginning Oct. 1.
"Renovation Realities" follows real homeowners as they "tackle do-it-yourself projects that don't always happen with ease," DIY network said.
That show is to debut Thursday, Nov. 13 and will air regularly on Mondays, starting Nov. 17.
