FRESH from touring with Biffy Clyro and blowing away the crowds at Download Festival, FIGHTING WITH WIRE are making their Teesside debut on Sunday night.

The Northern Ireland rock sensations (pictured right) will play at Doctor Brown’s in Middlesbrough as an intimate warm up gig before their slots at Leeds and Reading Festival.

Recent single Everyone Needs A Nemesis was Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record In The World on BBC Radio 1 and the video has been all over MTV2 for weeks.

The day after this gig, the trio head down to the capital for a Kerrang! awards show shindig, and they’ve just been confirmed to support Ash at their sold out 1977 playback gig at London’s legendary Roundhouse venue.

Fronted by Jetplane Landing guitarist Cahir O’Doherty, this should be an unmissable show for fans of Fugazi, Foo Fighters, Dinosaur Jnr, Husker Du, Jawbox, etc.

Support comes from Middlesbrough thrash lot LIFELESS.

They are out on tour to promote their debut mini-album which is being released by Pay For The Piano Recordings.

Amazing female-fronted emo-pop-punks and Lifeless’ Pay For The Piano label mates SUCH GREAT HEIGHTS complete the bill.
