Namitha Goes to Kerala
Namitha has finally agreed to do a Malayalam film for director duo Pramod Pappan.
The film titled Black Stallion will have Kalabhavan Mani as the hero, while Bala, who has acted in a few Tamil films, has also been roped in for an important role. Namitha, who has a huge following in Kerala, will be doing a full-fledged heroine's role in Malayalam for the first time. Leading writer Rajesh Jayaram is doing the script and Ouseappachan the music for this suspense thriller, in which Namitha is going to sport a very glamorous look. Remember, directors Pramod and Pappan were the first to spot the hidden glamour and sensuous side to Nayanthara in her early days when she did their Taskaraveeran?
Namitha has given them bulk dates for which she is reported to have been paid a record Rs 25 lakh, the highest ever paid to a heroine to do a Malayalam film. The shoot of the film starts in Thrissur from October 15.
