Coens' Newest at Toronto Film Festival

Organizers say the final selections for this year's Toronto Film Festival have been made, with a new Coen Brothers film headlining.
The U.S. filmmaking brothers, whose "No Country For Old Men" took the Oscar for Best Picture of 2007, will screen their latest, "Burn After Reading," as one of the Toronto fest's gala selections, the Toronto Star reported Wednesday. The event will run Sept. 4-13.
Four other of the 11 gala selections were announced Tuesday, as well. They include: "The Lucky Ones," a comedy-drama about Iraq war vets starring Tim Robbins; "Dean Spanley," a British period piece comedy-drama with Jeremy Northam and Peter O'Toole; French comedy "La Fille de Monaco" from director Anne Fontaine; and the Australian comedy "Singh is Kinng."
In all, Toronto organizers expect more than 500 celebrities to arrive to hype their entries among the 312 films from 64 countries set to screen over 10 days, the Star said. Organizers said the number of venues around Toronto has been reduced to better concentrate the proceedings, with the festival this year taking over an entire floor of the new AMC multiplex at Yonge and Dundas streets in downtown Toronto.
