Three films dealing with environmental issues will feature at this month’s 31st Hamilton International Film Festival at Rialto over the next week. Sharkwater, by Rob Stewart, features spectacular underwater cinematography and also investigates the trade in shark fins. Garbage Warrior puts its focus on architect Michael Reynolds, who creates homes from beer cans, bottles and car tyres, while the third film, Up the Yangtze, observes life on China’s most famous river.
