CATHERINE Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas’ son Dylan may have inherited more than his parents bargained for.

The confident eight-year-old told his drama teacher that he’s sure he’ll have no trouble learning to be an actor because of his talented parents.

Catherine told Hello! magazine: “My son went to his first drama lesson and he turned to his teacher and said ‘Don’t worry. I’m a good actor.

It’s in my genes’.”

And with acting firmly in the bloodline, it’s more than likely to be true.

The youngster’s grandfather Kirk Douglas appeared in classic Hollywood films Spartacus and Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, his TV and film star mum’s stage career began in childhood, and his father is an Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award and two-time Academy Award- winner.

It seems as though the Douglas-Joneses really are concentrating on their heritage.

Catherine recently said she wished she could talk to her dead grandmother, Zeta, after meeting a clairvoyant on the set of her latest film Death Defying Acts.

She said: “I was fascinated by the psychic.

If I could speak to my grandmother tonight, I’d be doing it. So I do believe.”
