Known as the master of nostalgic comedy, Richard Digance has been chosen to kick off the new autumn/winter season at the Theatre Royal in Lincoln.
One of Britain's best comics, Richard Digance has performed to an audience of eight in the Falklands and to half a million at Knebworth with The Beach Boys and Dire Straits.
As a star performer for a number of years, Richard has done lots in between too that have led him to a BAFTA Nomination, a Gold Award from the British Academy of Songwriters, a Sony Radio Award and as a regular guest in Dictionary Corner he comes up with nine letter words on the Channel 4 programme Countdown.
Since he first emerged on the notoriously difficult comedy scene in the early 1970s he has been a true survivor, bucking all the trends in comedy and music, and he remains one of Britain's most unique entertainers, performing his witty songs, rhymes and regaling highly-amusing stories like nobody else. This is sure to be a night any comedy fan will not want to miss, full of music and laughter.
