KERRY Katona is to undergo a breast reduction op on TV. The 27- year-old is fed up with her drooping breasts after bearing children, and has agreed to let MTV film her op. The deal could not have come at a better time for the star, who filed for bankruptcy last week.

SHANNEN Doherty has revealed she decided to return to the 90210 fold for her fans.

The actress played Brenda Walsh in the hit ’90s TV series and will reprise the role in the new spin-off show. "It was the fan response which was so overwhelming, asking me to come back," she said.

ALAN Carr has landed a pounds 3mchat show deal with Channel 4, according to reports. Carr will face competition from Jonathan Ross, and Piers Morgan. A source said: "Alan is the TV face of the future. He’ll ask celebrities questions the other two will be afraid to."

US TV talent show American Idol has added a fourth face to its panel of judges.

Grammy-nominated pop composer Kara DioGuardi will join veteran Idol judges Simon Co well, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson for the upcoming eighth series in January 2009.
