Sparks and Heavy.Com Launch ‘Tiny Entourage’
MILWAUKEE and NEW YORK, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- One of the decade's biggest TV shows is about to get a little smaller. Today, HBO's "Entourage" program will transform into "Tiny Entourage," courtesy of Heavy.com and Sparks. "Tiny Entourage," the latest in a string of humorous viral videos on Heavy.com, features little people in the roles made famous in the original. The cast of "Tiny Entourage" will attend a public premiere party VMA Weekend in LA, scheduled for 10 p.m. on Sept. 6, at Libertine on Sunset in Los Angeles (8210 W. Sunset Blvd.). Each episode can be viewed here: http://tinyentourage.heavy.com/.
"With webisodes like 'Over the Hills' and 'Flex and the City,' Heavy has a proud history of skewering staid TV programming," said Eric Hadley, CMO of Heavy Corporation. "This time around we're taking HBO's 'Entourage' down a few pegs with 'Tiny Entourage.' We're thrilled to have a huge brand like Sparks on board to give it a boost."
Earlier this year, Heavy.com launched parodies of other popular cable TV shows, including a spoof on "The Hills" called "Over the Hills," featuring a cast of senior-citizens. A spoof of "Sex and the City" called "Flex and the City" followed, featuring a cast of female body builders.
