Mentor Partners Anchors Production of “Salute the Troops”
On Sunday September 7th at 9/8c on ABC, we will air this year’s Bob Hope style patriotic variety show entitled, USAA Presents “America United: In Support of Our Troops.” This event is a 2-hour special saluting those men and women who keep our nation safe … and their families who sacrifice so much for all of us. The production is a variety show in the tradition of the Bob Hope USO specials.
A video segment from the show is available for preview at: www.SupportAmericaUnited.com

For more than 60 years, patriotic variety shows like this have featured America’s top entertainers (to rally behind our brave men and women in uniform, to show their support and to help raise morale). From Bob Hope to Marilyn Monroe – celebrities have consistently gone the distance to demonstrate their appreciation. Now the tradition continues for a new generation of talent – and for a new generation of Americans.
Over the past year, Ernest Jacquet, a former diver in the United States Navy, and Mentor Partners have proudly supported the USAA production of this Bob Hope styled show. The Event was taped in Iraq, Ft. Campbell, and Camp Pendleton in front of 40,000 Troops and their families. The program featured artists such as Janet Jackson, Jessica Simpson, Clint Black, ZZ Top, Snoop Dog and other major celebrities.
This is an opportunity for us to send a clear message to the troops, “America supports you!” We want to bring as many people together behind this common cause as possible so that the troops and their families will know that their efforts have not been forgotten. Please join us in celebrating their service.
You can show your support by tuning in on Sunday evening and by making a donation by logging onto www.SupportAmericaUnited.com. Let the world know you are proud to be an American by supporting the men and women that support our way of life.
