Twin Peaks for Safari Lads Joe and Sam

A NEW indoor activity centre at Dudley Zoo has been keeping young visitors busy between the recent heavy showers.

Dinosaur Dig, located in the Tecton Tropical Birdhouse on the Zoo's upper level, has proved a big hit with many youngsters.

Zoo chief executive, Peter Suddock, said: "Children hunt for eggs in sand then extract model dinosaurs which they take home. The dinosaur theme links with ancient fossils that are found on the zoo site and teaches young visitors a little of our fascinating history.

"We installed the dig as a rain-dodger."
