By laura stuart-cook
Boundless energy, an exuberant spectacle and beautiful music executed with kindness.
The New Ropestring Band promise all these things when they play at Cleethorpes Memorial Hall tonight.
The four-piece band perform an assortment of folk music styles from hoe-down pan-Celtic to old-time up-beat pieces, all mixed with a comical style.
The New Ropestring Band is made up of the remaining members of the Old Ropestring Band, Pete Challoner and Tim Dalling, who have joined forces with Jock Tyldesley and Vera van Heeringen.
Tickets costing pounds5 will be available on the door, which opens at 7pm, the music beginning at 7.30pm.
For advance tickets, visit the Cleethorpes Memorial Hall or call (01472) 691838.
