Publisher Launches New YouTube Video Channel for Master Storyteller L. Ron Hubbard's Fiction Events and Interviews

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Publisher Galaxy Press has created a new video channel on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/GalaxyPress) to make numerous existing and future videos of its promotional events, interviews, and contests available for fans of best-selling author L. Ron Hubbard's fiction.

"We've got an entire library of video footage and interviews with prominent names in science fiction and fantasy discussing their work and that of Mr. Hubbard," said Hollywood based publisher Galaxy Press.

In making the announcement, the publisher said that the new YouTube channel has just released highlights of the L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future Volume 24 book release event recently held in Hollywood, CA, just one block away from the Kodak Theater, site of the Academy Awards. Visitors to the YouTube channel can also view the video trailer, which was premiered at the Writers and Illustrators of the Future awards ceremony.

The new channel also features video interviews with New York Times bestselling authors Anne McCaffrey (Dragonriders of Pern series), Sean Williams (Star Wars: The Force Unleashed), Orson Scott Card (Enders Game) and Robert J. Sawyer (Rollback).

The Writers of the Future contest has become the top merit-based competition of its kind for new or little-published writers worldwide. Entries are received throughout the year and are judged by leading literary professionals. The L. Ron Hubbard Presents Illustrators of the Future, begun in 1988, similarly honors artists who illustrate the winning short stories. Since inception, the Writers and Illustrators of the Future contests have produced 24 anthology volumes honoring over 500 writers and illustrators and awarding a cumulative $500,000 in cash prizes.
