JK TV Role is Put on Hold

PLANS for Harry Potter author JK Rowling to star in a special Christmas edition of Doctor Who were dropped after actor David Tennant said it sounded like a spoof.
Doctor Who writer Russell T Davies first wanted the Edinburgh- based author to write an episode of the science fiction show.
But when she declined, he hatched a plan for her to make a guest appearance.
