US Music Industry Veteran Joins YANGAROO

YANGAROO Inc., (TSX-V: YOO, OTCBB: YOOIF) the industry’s leading secure digital media distribution company has appointed Josh Zieman, music industry veteran and former Vice President, Marketing at Manhattan/Blue Note Label Group, a division of EMI Music based in New York, as Senior Vice President of Business Development.

Overseeing sales and market development for YANGAROO’S patented Digital Media Distribution System (DMDS), Zieman will be working with Jon Klein, Vice President Business Development, based in New York, and Drew Ferrante, Vice President Business Development, based in Los Angeles to continue the expansion in the U.S. market as well as generate new revenue streams for the company.

Josh Zieman comes to YANGAROO as a seasoned U.S.-based senior executive with over 25 years experience in sales and marketing. Prior to his position as Vice President, Marketing at EMI’s Manhattan/Blue Note, Zieman was General Manager of Papa Joe Records, a division of Geffen Records in Los Angeles. He has also held the positions of General Manager at major independent label Razor and Tie and Vice President, Marketing at Columbia Records and Mercury Records in New York.
