Coliiseum Books Ventriloquist
BLOOMINGTON - The 2007 winner of "America's Got Talent," ventriloquist Terry Fator, will bring himself and his multiple personalities to the stage of Bloomington's U.S. Cellular Coliseum at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10.
Tickets are $29.50 and $39.50, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 27 via the Coliseum box office and area Ticketmaster locations.
Fator was the million-dollar prize winner on the NBC series during the 2007 season. As a result of that win, Las Vegas' Mirage Hotel recently signed the performer to a five-year, $100 million contract.
Beginning in February, he'll perform five nights a week, 48 weeks a year at a theater named in his honor, The Terry Fator Theatre.
Fator gained fame and viewer votes for his singing celebrity impersonations via his puppets, including Cowboy Walter, Emma Taylor and Winston the Impersonating Turtle.
His impressions include Elvis Presley, Tony Bennett, Garth Brooks, Louis Armstrong, Roy Orbison and Kermit the Frog.
