A Haiku Per Day for a Year for You — New Book is a Fascinating Collection of Haiku Poems
LONG BEACH, Calif., Sept. 18, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Poetry fans and Japanese Haiku enthusiasts are about to get a special treat from author Donald Alan Straub III as Xlibris releases his new book Outside the Inner Dialogue, the opening chapter of the Lake Parking Trilogy.
Outside the Inner Dialogue is a fascinating compilation of Haiku poems written during the turn of the Millennium. The task of writing A Haiku a Day for a Year emerged from the author's personal search for a constructive and productive means in dealing with his Grandmother's passing weeks prior. While sticking with the traditional five-seven-five line syllable structure, Straub has chosen to play with the Haikus in unconventional and contrasting ways, exploring any and every subject that comes to mind. This book is essentially about taking notice of our surroundings to the most minute and finite degree.
