The Razz: Duo Were Really Some-Ting Special ; LIVE LAST NIGHT

THE Ting Tings proved they were more than Great DJs at their sell- out show in Glasgow’s Barrowland last night.

Fresh from winning best breakthrough act at the Vodafone Music Awards ceremony earlier this week, Katie White and Jules De Martino delivered storming versions of songs from their debut album We Started Nothing.

Fans loved their No1 single That’s Not My Name and danced along to hits including Great DJ and Shut Up And Let Me Go.

The gig came as Emily Eavis, daughter of Glastonbury founder Michael, said the pair, from Salford in Greater Manchester, would be part of the bill at the legendary festival next year alongside Franz Ferdinand.

The two acts performed at an Equinox Party at the festival site in Somerset on Friday.

But the Franz lads played without drummer Paul Thomson, who was elsewhere attending the birth of his son.
