Jack Gets Set to Stack Them in at Tesco

September 22, 2008

MUSICALS star Keith Jack will return to the Dalkeith supermarket where he used to stack shelves to launch his new album.

The star will pose for photographs, sign autographs and catch up with old colleagues when he launches his debut CD, This Time, at Tesco in Dalkeith today.

Tesco Dalkeith manager Chris McIntyre said: “It’s fantastic to see Keith doing so well for himself – we’ve ordered in hundreds of extra copies of his album as he’s got a lot of fans in this store.”

The performer shot to fame 18 months ago when he starred in TV talent contest Any Dream Will Do and has since performed up and down the country in the touring show of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

He is about to embark on a 17-date UK tour starring in a brand new musical, Only the Brave.

The visit to his home town marks the start of a week-long tour of Scottish Tesco stores. He will be at the Dalkeith Hardengreen store on Bonnyrigg Road from around noon and Tesco’s new Hermiston Gait Store in Edinburgh from around 4pm.
