Pupils on the Screen

YOUNG filmmakers are to have their work showcased at a national festival.

Pupils from Kenton School in Newcastle will have their film Locked Up screened at The Cooperative Young Film Makers Festival in Bradford next month.

Who am I? by Newcastle youngsters from youth group Choices and The Day of the Stationary by pupils from Cleaswell Hill School in Choppington, will also be shown.

The entries were among 100 chosen from more than 250 productions from across the UK.

The selected films, all six minutes long, will be shown throughout the two-day event, organised by the Co-operative Group.
