ANZ to Reduce Staff Numbers

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group has announced voluntary redundancies at its branches in New Zealand, revealed media reports.
It is reported that this is in response to increased customer use of direct channels such as the telephone and the internet.
Media reports also indicated that ANZ called a series of meetings with staff members to discuss the review.
