Spirit of 60s Rock ‘N’ Roll

A GREAT 60s night out is being promised at Bedworth Civic Hall when two members of the hit band Freddie and the Dreamers take to the stage, along with members of The Tremeloes.

Altogether three groups from the 1960s will be strutting their stuff on November 10.

Freddie Garrity died of hypertension two years ago, but Dreamers Alan Mosca and Bryan Byng backed him on European and American tours.

The Tremeloes had a string of top 10 singles including Silence Is Golden and Even The Bad Times Are Good.

Also on the bill will be Marmalade, the first Scottish act to top the UK charts in 1969 with the Lennon and McCartney song Ob-la-di Ob- la-da.

The event starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost pounds 19.50 and are available from the Civic Hall box office on 024 7637 6707.
