Justin Lo Live in Genting

HONG Kong pop idol Justin Lo Ting Wai performs in Genting Highlands’ Arena of Stars at 8pm on Oct 18 in the Air Justin 2008 Live In Genting Concert.
He is joined by pop singer Stephy Tang Lai Yan who was formerly associated with teen pop act Cookies.
She is famous for her debut album Colouring Stephy and her duets with popular Hong Kong singers such as Alex Fong, Leo Ku and Anson Hu.
Tang also writes children’s books and acts in television series and films.
Lo, 32, was born in New York but moved to Hong Kong when he was two.
He later returned to the United States and pursued a graphic design degree at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence in 1999.
Lo’s uncle, Ted Lo is a well-known music arranger and producer in Hong Kong.
Lo’s music career began in 2003 when Ted introduced him to producer and composer Mark Lui. Two years later, he performed in an a cappella section in Ku’s Solid Gold Hits Concert.
Lo’s earliest hit songs included Good Person, Erica, Hard Life and I Got It Going For Myself. He wrote all of the songs except Good Person.
Lo’s debut album Justin was launched in 2005 and sales reached 25,000 copies by the year’s end.
In 2006, he held his debut concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum. It was titled One Good Show and tickets were sold out within 10 minutes.
Lo subsequently performed in Sydney with Wilfred Lau, Tang and Fong in the JAWS concert, and at the Watson’s Distilled Water – Listen To Justin Sing concert in Guangzhou, China.
In 2007, Lo performed with the Hong Kong Philharmonic in the Coliseum and at the Success Charity Gala in Vancouver, Canada.
Lo’s second album No Protection was launched in 2006.
His subsequent album JTV was launched the following year.
Lo has won several music awards in Hong Kong, including the New Generation Singer-Songwriter at the Metro Radio Hong Kong Hits Awards 2005, Best Pop Artiste at the Radio Television Hong Kong Top 10 Chinese Gold Songs Awards and Best New Male Artiste at the HKTVB Jade Solid Gold Best 10 Awards.
In 2006, Lo made his film debut in Love At First Note starring alongside Fong and Tang.
In the same year he acted in 2 Become 1 with Miriam Yeung and Richie Jen.
Lo’s concert is organised by Genting – City of Entertainment and sponsored by Cathay Pacific (official airline), ntv7 (official television station), My FM (official radio station), Be A Star Karaoke and Genting WorldCard.
Tickets are priced at RM80, RM130, RM200, RM270 and RM350.
There is no admission for infants and children aged below three. Children aged three and above must purchase tickets for admission.
