Glover Tapped for ‘Wonderland’ Role
Crispin Glover, a U.S. actor known for his quirky roles, has signed up for a part in Tim Burton’s upcoming big-screen version of “Alice in Wonderland.”
Glover’s film credits include “Teachers,”"Back to the Future,”"Wild at Heart,”"The Doors,”"Willard” and “River’s Edge,” as well as the “Charlie’s Angels” movies. He also had a lead role in the motion-capture picture “Beowulf.”
The Hollywood Reporter said Glover will play the Knave of Hearts in Burton’s take on the classic “Wonderland” tale, which will be a combination of live-action and motion-capture technology.
Newcomer Mia Wasikowska is set to play Alice, Johnny Depp the Mad Hatter, Anne Hathaway the White Queen and Helena Bonham Carter the Red Queen.
