MovieTimes.Com Names New CEO
Movie Times, Inc., operator of leading entertainment portals such as MovieTimes.com, has named Ari Lee Bayme as its Chief Executive Officer. Bayme, a veteran technology banker and Internet executive, was previously Vice-President of Corporate Development for Gorilla Nation, the largest online advertising sales representation company.
"After reaching a record 3 million visitors in July 2008, we realized that we needed someone with Ari's experience to realize the potential of this growth," said Movie Times, Inc. chairman Dan Pulcrano, whom Bayme succeeds as CEO.
"MovieTimes.com is already one of the web's leading entertainment portals," Bayme said. "It's extremely powerful for marketers because it reaches movie enthusiasts at precisely the moment that they are planning their next visit to a cinema."
Founded in 2002 and originally known as "MrMovieTimes," MovieTimes.com enables users to rate and review movies, as well as browse reviews by other MovieTimes.com members. Moviegoers can also view trailers, purchase tickets and order DVDs through the site.
"I am excited to lead this exceptional team and make MovieTimes.com the best site to visit before enjoying a movie," Bayme said.
