He joined the company from Microsoft, where he was responsible for launching Surface, the world's first multi-touch surface computer for the financial services, retail, and hospitality markets.
"Odysii has been working successfully with Fortune 2000 companies around the globe for years to deliver onsite campaigns that raise the bar for marketers seeking profitable returns on their investment dollars," said Gattis. "While marketers see the promise of digital signage, most still lack the tools necessary to customize their onsite message immediately to influence purchase decisions. Our technology does exactly that. We work directly from customer data, utilizing data-driven analytics to create prioritized rules that can adapt and adjust customer campaigns in real-time with messaging tailored to reflect current and local business conditions and priorities."
Co-founded in 2004 by Adi Eyal and Yair Goldfinger, co-founder of ICQ and credited with the creation of Instant Messaging, Odysii has established a leadership position in the market for onsite messaging software. With tens of thousands of installations now implemented in more than 25 countries worldwide, its SaaS-based solution has delivered targeted onsite messaging for Fortune 2000 customers such as Banco Santander, Blockbuster, HEB, HSBC, McDonald's, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, Vodafone, and Western Union.
Odysii's unique marketing intelligence solution is designed to allow marketers to deliver customized, targeted content in real-time across thousands of digital screens now featured in stores, hotels, branches, and various locations worldwide. Unlike offerings that simply loop content over and over, its technology uses intricate algorithms and analytics to modify, update, and customize messages and visual materials according to a customer's business strategy and objectives at both the global and local levels. Doing so saves significant time and expense, allows on-screen content to keep pace with changing conditions, and automatically generates customized, relevant, and targeted programming for local customers whenever and wherever needed.
"Odysii is the only company to offer an intelligent marketing solution that enables marketers to put their customer data to work onsite to create messages that can actually motivate customers to buy," said Adi Eyal, co-founder and chief executive officer of Odysii. "Our marketing intelligence software offers unprecedented levels of real-time customization to reflect existing inventory levels, complementary product offerings, and customer information. Using that insight enables marketers to deliver the most meaningful message possible at the most critical moment -- when their customer walks in the door."
