V-me and iTunes sign deal

The Hispanic TV network V-me Tuesday announced a major deal involving Hispanic network programming on iTunes.

More than 30 hours of exclusive Spanish-language content from V-me, including the genres of kids programming, music and personality interviews are now available on the iTunes Store, the companies said.

Program titles such as Estudio Billboard, LazyTown and Viva Voz con Jorge Gestoso are available for purchase and download at

V-me's audience is everywhere and we want to be everywhere they are, Carmen DiRienzo, V-me president and chief executive officer, said in a statement. Hispanics are among America's heaviest consumers of content downloads, and with V-me programs now available on iTunes, our viewers can enjoy more of what they want, whenever they want.
