Newly discovered Mozart work to premiere

A previously unknown work by Mozart is to be performed for the first time at the Marian Sanctuary of Jasna Gora in Czestochowa, Poland Radio reported.

The concert, featuring The Partita for brass, is to take place Saturday and be broadcast on TVP public television.

The work attributed to Mozart was among the copies of several scores discovered in the Jasna Gora archives.

Pauline monks reportedly had made the copies for use in the sanctuary.

Another unknown Mozart composition found in the archives debuted in May, Poland Radio said.
