To address this need, MauroNewMedia has launched Pulse>UX, a new blog whose mission is to "provide the professional fields of user experience research and design with a voice for critical analysis and commentary. We strive to create an active and articulate view on issues of the interface between customers and technology."
Says
The latest Pulse>UX posting: "How Obama Whacked McCain on the Web and Why It Is Important" offers key insights into how the Obama web experience raised the bar for political sites and for all Web 2.0 sites. A second major commentary, "What does Google Chrome mean for the future of user experience design?" takes a critical look at the new Google browser "Chrome" and asks some tough questions about why the usability of Chrome is so poor compared to IE and Firefox.
When speaking about the expertise behind the new Pulse>UX blog, Mauro says "We hope to bring more than 30 years of professional background in user experience research and design to the pages of Pulse>UX. We feel that our insights can benefit marketing, advertising, software development and new media strategy executives to better understand the complexity of user experience research and design."
