C-SPAN Invites America to Tour the White House During C-SPAN’s ‘White House Week,’ December 14-20
The week debuts with C-SPAN’s feature documentary, “The White House: Inside America’s Most Famous Home,”

Exclusive interviews with the current First Family, White House staff, and renowned presidential historians are featured throughout the week, providing viewers with an in-depth, historical portrait of the White House. These accounts are complemented with the rich collection of the White House Historical Association’s archives.
“The White House is a grand old home, an office building, and a museum of American history. And, it is also the only private residence of a head of state that is open to the public, free of charge. President Bush and I are happy to share an insider’s view of this special home where we live and work,” said Mrs. Bush.
