Perfect World Launches 'Special Year-End Edition' Expansion Pack for 'Zhu Xian'

BEIJING, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Perfect World Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: PWRD) ("Perfect World" or the "Company"), a leading online game developer and operator in China, today announced that it launched a "Special Year-End Edition" expansion pack for the 3D massively multiplayer online role playing game ("MMORPG") "Zhu Xian" on December 9.

A number of new elements have been added to this latest release, including an "Immortalize System" and a "Practice System." After a player "immortalizes" himself, he can choose to become a "Fairy," "Demon" or "Buddha," and enhance the character in the "Practice System." The player then can begin experiencing quests on the new map that contains various battlefields and three mysterious dungeons.

The "Special Year-End Edition" also features new armor, colorful costumes, flying creatures, pets and riding animals. With the three new "Fairy," "Demon" and "Buddha" groups, five schools, 25 professional combinations and hundreds of skill sets, the game will allow users to build their own elaborate and unique characters.
