Jenny Craig tabs Rashad as new spokeswoman

Actress Phylicia Rashad, known best for her role on The Cosby Show,
is the new spokeswoman for Jenny Craig, the U.S. weight-loss group says.
An unidentified Jenny Craig representative told People.com exclusively Friday that the 60-year-old actress would serve as the new face of the weight-loss and nutrition group.
Jenny Craig confirms a new relationship with Phylicia Rashad,
the representative said. We look forward to sharing the details at a press conference in late January.
Rashad was just nominated for a Golden Globe best actress award for her role in the miniseries A Raisin in the Sun.
People noted previous Jenny Craig spokeswomen include actresses Kirstie Alley and Valerie Bertinelli and rapper-actress Queen Latifah.
