Clearview Cinemas Presents the Ultimate 'Harry Potter' Movie Marathon at the Legendary Ziegfeld Theatre

The opening weekend of this exclusive six-day engagement will feature more than 12 hours of consecutive "Harry Potter" films on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
NEW YORK, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ --- Clearview Cinemas today announced that it will feature a six-day exclusive engagement featuring all five "Harry Potter" films at the legendary Ziegfeld Theatre, from December 19 to December 24. During the event's opening weekend, the "Harry Potter" films will be shown for more than 12 consecutive hours in order of when the films were released, starting at 10 a.m. each day with "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and concluding with "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."
"Whether people are seeing these 'Harry Potter' films for the first or fifth time, we are giving adults and children alike the opportunity to enjoy them once again the way they were meant to be seen, on the big screen in a premiere venue like the Ziegfeld Theatre," said Craig Zeltner, vice president of film, Clearview Cinemas. "Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone:" The magical adventure begins when Harry Potter is invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets:" Cars fly, trees attack and a mysterious house-elf warns Harry that he is in great danger as he returns for his second year at Hogwarts. "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban:" Harry must confront soul-sucking Dementors, outsmart a werewolf and learn the truth about the escaped prisoner of Azkaban Sirius Black. "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire:" Harry must overcome a deadly dragon, fierce water demons and an enchanted maze only to find himself in the cruel grasp of He Who Must Not Be Named. "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix:" When few believe that Lord Voldemort has returned, Harry must secretly train his friends for the wizarding war that lies ahead.
