British composer Andrew Lloyd Webber says he has chosen six musical acts, including a twin sister duo, to fight for a Eurovision Song Contest spot.
Webber, who agreed to headline England's search for a Eurovision contestant, has tabbed two twins, identified only as Francine and Nicola, along with an all-male quintet, two female singers and two male singers to vie for the lone British spot, the BBC reported Sunday.
The six musical acts will perform on the upcoming live BBC series One show Your Country Needs You
in attempt to represent their country in the international competition.
The winner of that series, which starts next Saturday, will be announced Jan. 31 and will then move onto the Eurovision contest armed with a song written by Webber.
The Eurovision contest begins May 16 with an opening competition in Moscow, the BBC said.
Britain's Eurovision contestant last year, Andy Abraham, finished last among the event's 25 entrants.
