NEW YORK, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second year running, global experiential marketing agency Jack Morton Worldwide has designed and built a groundbreaking environment to help NBC Universal shine at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), to be held January 8-11, 2009, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The Jack Morton team behind the NBCU experience includes Emmy Award-winning designer Jim Fenhagen, who leads the agency's broadcast design studio, Jack Morton PDG. The environment is also being fabricated by Jack Morton Exhibits.

The 9,000-square foot (2,743-square meter) design is integral to NBCU's role as the official CES broadcast partner. "The Today Show," "NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams," "Access Hollywood" and "Closing Bell" with Maria Bartiromo will all be broadcasting live from NBCU's tradeshow environment at the heart of the CES floor.

Visitors to the exhibit will have the opportunity to experience the network's vast content offerings in formats for HDTV, personal computers and handheld devices. Other interactive features include:

  • A "blogger's garden" for live blogging from CES

  • A digital "media tree," sponsored by Microsoft, that will help attendees explore NBCU content

  • Interactive kiosks offering free, downloadable content

Designer Jim Fenhagen will be on hand during the 2009 CES leading guided tours and answering questions from attendees and the press. Jim's credits include internationally recognized designs for corporate events, tradeshows and theater, as well as broadcast set designs for every major network and cable group, including ESPN's SportsCenter, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and The Colbert Report, The Weather Channel, The MLB Network, the NBA Network and QVC.
