Oscar nomination ballots due back Monday

Hollywood’s Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences says its 5,810 voting members are to return their completed Oscar nominations ballots by Monday.
The ballots from which nominations for the 81st Academy Awards will be culled are to be returned to PricewaterhouseCoopers no later than 5 p.m. PT, the Academy said in a release.
Ballots received after that deadline will not be counted.
Nominations for the awards are to be announced Jan. 22 in the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles.
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2008 are to be presented Feb. 22 at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Los Angeles and televised live by the ABC Television Network.
