taggle Aims to Revive Retail by Letting Customers Name their Price for Goods

taggle is an in-store wireless pricing and advertising system which has been in development for over a year. Retailers control which items are available on taggle promotion, setting price ranges, quantities, and duration. Customers in the store then browse for and make offers on merchandise via their iPhone or iPod Touch. Users of other phones aren't left out of the fun -- they can participate via text messaging. Customers get an immediate response and if their offer is accepted they pay for the item at regular checkout.
