Food Industry Specialist Alyssa Burns Joins MWW Group as Vice President

Five-Year Kraft Foods Veteran Brings Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods Expertise to Agency’s Industry-Leading Global Consumer Marketing Practice

CHICAGO, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ — MWW Group (www.mww.com), one of the nation’s top 10 public relations firms, renowned for its award-winning global Consumer Marketing practice, announced today that Alyssa Burns has joined the company as a vice president in its Midwest office. As a senior member of MWW Group’s Midwest team, Burns will help develop and execute strategic public relations programs for a number of consumer marketing clients including international grocery retailer ALDI and global nutrition company XanGo, LLC. Additionally, Burns will add strong expertise to MWW Group’s leading Food & Beverage and Consumer Packaged Goods divisions, which represents major brands including McDonald’s, Sara Lee Corporation, Copeland’s, FreshDirect and others.

Previously, Burns served as senior manager in communications and corporate affairs at Kraft Foods where she directed successful branding campaigns in support of the company’s leading cheese products including Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Kraft Singles, Deli Delux and Velveeta in addition to Miracle Whip, Grey Poupon and Kraft Mayo.
