World’s Leading Entertainment Merchandising Company Re-Signs World’s Leading Rockers

NEW YORK, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ — Bravado, the world’s leading global music merchandising company, has entered into an agreement to continue to manufacture and distribute merchandise for the multi-platinum selling, chart-topping, Grammy-nominated rock band Nickelback. The announcement was made today by Tom Bennett, Chief Executive Officer of Bravado and Nickelback.

Nickelback; Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake and Daniel Adair, has sold over 25 Million records worldwide and is firmly established as one of the most successful tour merchandising acts in the world today. Native to Alberta, Canada, the group is credited with pioneering the post-grunge sound of the new century. With the release of its third studio album, 2001′s Silver Side Up, Nickelback exploded into the mainstream with the massive hit single “How You Remind Me,” earning the band four Grammy nominations and four Juno Awards. The band continued their success with the arrival of The Long Road in 2003, which sold over 5 million copies worldwide while their fifth album, the blockbuster All The Right Reasons, proved the most successful yet, remaining in the Billboard Top 30 for over two years and selling over 7 million copies in the US alone.

With the release earlier this month of their sixth studio album, Dark Horse, Nickelback embarks on its 2009 World Tour commencing in Nashville on February 25th, taking the band to Australia, Japan, Europe, and all throughout North America.
