Digital Printing: It’s less expensive than letterpress and creates a less
formal look. In digital printing, an image is sent directly to the printer
using digital files such as PDFs from graphics software such as Illustrator.
This eliminates the need for a printing plate, which is used in offset and
letterpress printing, which can save money and time. Instead of having to
print large, pre-determined runs, requests can be made for as little as one
print. Digital printing technology has advanced rapidly over the last few
years, meaning that it now results in quality that is comparable to old-school
methods of printing.
